A Spanish language version of World of Warcraft will be hitting the store shelves next week. See what else those crafty devs have in mind:
If you've been looking forward to the Latin American launch of World of Warcraft, come out to one of our launch events to celebrate with other gamers and meet some of the people behind the game. Starting at 12:00 AM CDT on Friday, July 25, we'll be greeting players and signing boxes at the Blockbuster Pilares store located at Av. Universidad #697 in Col. Del Valle, Mexico.
The following days, July 26 and 27, we'll be holding a launch event in Plaza Satélite, a mall located in Estado de Mexico. At this event, there will be free giveaways, activities to take part in, a chance to win some exciting prizes, and the opportunity to meet members of our Latin American team and other Blizzard representatives.
See below for more information on the launch events, and for more information on the Latin American version of World of Warcraft, please check out our Latin American Spanish website.
Developer Signing
At both events, players can meet World of Warcraft developers and other Blizzard Entertainment representatives, take pictures with them, and get game copies signed.
Leveling Contest
Players who attend the mall launch event can compete in a leveling contest for fun and prizes, attempting to get a character to the highest level possible in a set amount of time.
Tournament
During the mall launch event, we'll hold a small-scale 3v3 Arena competition with pre-made character templates. Prizes will be awarded, so gather your friends and come out to test your skill against other gamers.
Giveaways
Also at the mall launch event, we'll be well-stocked with posters and other promotional items to give away to attendees.
Sounds like quite a fiesta!
